Our Mission & Vision

“To cultivate Enlisted Military men and women to lead with character, trust, confidence, and empathy.”

Enlisted Leadership Foundation is a San Diego based non-profit dedicated to leadership development of armed forces Enlisted Leaders. E.L.F. was formed by a team of active duty and retired Navy Command and Master Chief Petty Officers to build up and fine-tune current and future leaders through a philosophy of sharing and mentoring based on combined generations of growth and grooming.

Leadership Navigation best describes our mission. John Maxwell’s fourth leadership law is The Law of Navigation: The secret to the Law of Navigation is preparation. When you prepare well, you convey confidence and trust to people. Leaders who are good navigators are capable of taking their people just about anywhere (John Maxwell’s, 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership).

The Enlisted Leadership Foundation programs are created, maintained, and groomed by over 200 years of leadership experience from retired senior enlisted leaders with the goal to help navigate enlisted leaders towards successful leadership.
